How to Light Kubera Deepam

Oil: Use ghee (clarified butter) or sesame oil to light the lamp.

Wick: Swaha Akhandjyot cotton wicks (24-hour one) or the Swaha Easy Diyas (60-min, 90-min Tea Lights or the 4-hour ones) are usually used.

Placement: The lamp should be placed in a meditation or prayer room or the northeast corner of the house.

Timing: It is usually lit during the evening, after sunset, and during auspicious times the Hindu calendar (or Panchang)
